The RoamAD platform employs multi-radio, multi-spectrum wireless nodes comprised of best-of-breed, standards-based components such as Atheros-based radios and Intel XScale™ or x86 motherboards used as the core of the wireless nodes.

RoamAD's platform supports up to four radios per node using any combination of 900MHz, 2.4GHz, 4.9GHz, and 5 GHz for either backhaul or end user access. Backhaul options include point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-multipoint, mesh, and mobile mesh either in self-forming, self-healing modes, or in RoamAD's infrastructure-mesh mode.
RoamAD has developed a standard hardware assembly design for multi-radio intelligent network nodes. RoamAD's software is required for operation of the nodes.
RoamAD's VAR/SIs partners either assemble multi-radio nodes themselves or purchase them pre-assembled from RoamAD OEM Partners who are certified by RoamAD to sell RoamAD Compatible multi-radio nodes. The VAR/SIs then install RoamAD's software on the nodes and supply the completed solution to the customer.
