RoamAD supplies the market-leading wireless networking software platform for converged wireless networks.

RoamAD's wireless networking software platform has been designed from the ground up to deliver unmatched flexibility and functionality for high-performance converged wireless networks supporting mobile voice, data and video, through the use of RoamAD's event driven daemon software system and routing features.

The unique platform comprises intelligent network node software, gateway software, and network controller software, all which is administered via RoamAD's web-based management interface called RAMP.

The software platform is modular and remotely upgradeable to support new radio technology and new application functionality.

RoamAD's software has been designed to operate on multi-radio nodes assembled from best-of-breed standards-compliant components.

RoamAD's choice to use standards-based wireless node components ensures ease of upgradeability and maintenance as well as allowing customers to take advantage of decreasing hardware component prices and a choice of multiple hardware suppliers.

Wireless node components include Atheros-based miniPCI form factor radios such as those from leading radio companies like Senao and Ubiquiti Networks as well as robust motherboards based on Intel XScale® technology from experienced engineering companies such as ADI Engineering and Gateworks.

RoamAD does not manufacture or supply hardware such as multi-radio nodes. RoamAD works with a number of certified RoamAD OEM Partners who supply RoamAD Compatible multi-radio nodes to RoamAD customers either directly or via RoamAD VAR/SI Partners.
